49ers attend Pro Days in prep for 2023 NFL Draft
The San Francisco 49ers are one of several NFL teams that attended both the Stanford and San Jose pro days this past week to scout potential picks for the upcoming draft. The team was reportedly interested in several defensive prospects, including cornerback and defensive line. The 49ers have a history of prioritizing defense in the draft, and with several key players potentially leaving in free agency, they’ll likely be looking for talented defenders to add to their roster.
Whether or not the 49ers end up selecting any players from these pro days, attending the NFL Draft in Las Vegas can be an exciting experience for football fans. And while the main event is undoubtedly the draft itself, there are plenty of other things to see and do while in town.
One of the best things to do while in Las Vegas for the draft is to check out some of the top sports bars in the area. The Legasse Stadium at The Palazzo is a must-visit spot for any sports fan, with a 9-foot by 16-foot screen, multiple smaller screens, and plenty of food and drink options. Another great option is the Sports Book Bar & Grill at the Mirage, which features over 30 high-definition TVs and a great selection of beers on tap.
If you’re looking for something beyond sports bars, Las Vegas also has plenty of great restaurants to check out. For upscale dining, check out celebrity chef restaurants like Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas or Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at the LINQ Hotel + Experience. For more casual dining options, try places like Shake Shack at New York-New York or Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan.
And of course, Las Vegas is known for its entertainment options, so be sure to catch a show while in town. The Cirque du Soleil shows are always popular, with options like “O” at the Bellagio or “Mystère” at Treasure Island. For something a bit different, check out the Blue Man Group at the Luxor or the comedy shows at the Mirage.
No matter what you choose to do while in town for the NFL Draft, be sure to soak up the excitement and enjoy the experience. And who knows, maybe the 49ers will end up selecting one of the players they scouted at Stanford or San Jose!
